What is the OEB Unit Sub-Metering Code?
The Unit Sub-Metering Code is a set of rules established by the Ontario Energy Board that governs how licensed sub-metering providers operate. It covers billing standards, consumer protection, disconnection procedures, and other operational requirements.
Does Voltage Vision mark up utility charges?
No. The OEB Unit Sub-Metering Code requires that utility pass-through charges from the local distribution company are passed through with no markup. Our service charges are separate and clearly disclosed on resident bills.
What is Measurement Canada certification?
Measurement Canada certification ensures that meters used for billing meet federal accuracy standards (specification S-E-04). All meters installed by Voltage Vision are Measurement Canada certified for revenue-grade billing accuracy.
